Want to finally play for your teacher, family
or in an exam the way you do when you’re practising alone?
Join me for a 5-day email challenge, and I’ll show you how to conquer your nerves and play to your practice-room standard under pressure.
You’ll receive one email with one tip per day to put into action!

By the end of the sprint, you’ll know how to:
π΅ Understand exactly why your playing changes the moment someone is listening – and what to do about it.
π΅ Build a short settling routine that calms you before you play your first note, whether you’re sitting with your teacher, playing for family or walking into an exam.
π΅ Recover from mistakes quickly and keep going – so a small wobble never derails the rest of your piece.
π΅ Measure your confidence growing in real time, day by day, so you know things are improving – not just hope they are.
All delivered straight to your inbox, so you can fit it into your existing practice routine.
Conquer your nerves in just 5 days!
Each day you’ll receive one focused challenge designed to build your confidence step by step. Here are a few of the topics we’ll cover:
π΅ A simple way to recreate performance nerves at home, so you’re never caught off guard by adrenaline when it matters most.
π΅ The 5-minute settling routine I use before playing for anyone, that brings my focus back and grounds me before I’ve even played my first note.
π΅ How to make sure you’re recovering from mistakes and moving on, not unravelling for the rest of the piece.

π΅ The biggest difference between practising a piece and performing it, and how to close that gap so your playing sounds the same whether no one is listening or everyone is.
π΅ The #1 thing to keep in mind when nerves take hold, and why the way most people try to calm themselves down actually makes things worse.
π΅ BONUS: A step-by-step method for measuring your confidence in real time, so you can see exactly how many bars it takes you to settle, and watch that number come down day by day.

Meet Your Coach
The musician behind Learn Music Together and the book Play Music Better. I help adults who are learning to play a musical instrument practice in a better way and play with confidence.
For over 20 years, Iβve been teaching music. I am an examiner for Trinity College London and a highly regarded teacher.
I can’t wait to share my knowledge, so I hope you’ll join me.
Testimonials from my students:
“I love the way you work and deliver your knowledge… you are a great teacher and much more….Β I will always value and hold on to what you have taught me… π― β¨οΈ π πΒ “
βThe prompts in general are good reinforcement of good practice habits and musicianship exercises. Practicing in itself if a lot to get done sometimes, reminders and “sprints” like this are great to focus on developing a musical sense instead of just getting through practice for the day!β
“Love your email tips, they’re always so easy to follow, implement and understand!”
